Montessori Education for Autism (MEfA) is offering a post-graduate certificate in special needs education.

The MEfA SEN CPD short course - Part 1: A Blueprint for Observation, focuses on the  physiological, neural and psychological development of babies and children. The taught sessions are accompanied by projects which show how students are able to use their Montessori insights to further their own professional development.

The students in Cohort 1 have now submitted their final projects to the MEfA Board of Trustees for scrutiny before submission to the International Exam Board.

Elated, excited, exhilarated, expectant: words cannot describe how we all feel!

MEfA Cohort 2 commences on Tuesday 1 March 2011.

New Development: Trustee Opportunities!

Montessori Education for Autism is seeking to widen the expertise of its board of trustees. We are looking to appoint trustees from both the Montessori community and those with a wider interest in autism and other special needs.

Experience with charity administration and financing is an asset. Passion for our cause and a desire to help children who are at a disadvantage because of being on the spectrum is just as important to us as technical expertise.

Interested? Please visit our contact page or call Wendy Fidler on +44 (0) 7710 433 994.
