MONTESSORI EDUCATION FOR AUTISM (MEfA)
We aim to advance the education of children with autism (and conditions related to autism) through methods of learning and education developed by Maria Montessori and in connection with this:
- to provide advice and support to families and carers of children with Autism;
- to provide information, advisory and advocacy services, training, day services, education, leisure and recreation for children with autism and to support others making similar provision;
- to promote, conduct and engage in research into autism, and to publish the useful results of such research;
- to collect and disseminate information relating to autism and to exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects;
- to provide financial assistance, to make grants, loans and donations and to provide equipment and apparatus.
